INVERSE

I'm proud of this work! One of the nicest things about working at Inverse is that their mandate is to find the most interesting aspects of the story you're telling. Not "most sharable," "easiest to understand," etc. It's still a brand, of course, but I think part of the identity is to not make things cynically and to respect the audience, and I really like that and favor it as an attitude to approach storytelling with.

Shannon Odell is back to explain exactly what's going on in your brain when you're suffering from the bane of everybody's Friday nights: the hangover. YouTube videos of crows using tools have been a thing for a while, but how smart are these birds, really? According to a new study from Scientific Reports, New Caledonian crows are smart enough that their understanding doesn't just stop at utilizing tools but actually fabricating them as well, which places them in the company of primates on the intelligence scale.

Science & Chill: Rad Animals

Stitched together this mashup of a few episodes of Science & Chill we did about animals. I also edited, colored, keyed, mixed and designed graphics for the last video about wolves.

Kratom has rapidly spread beyond its native range and has taken root in the U.S. Even though it doesn't grow in most places stateside, it can be obtained pretty easily online, at smoke shops in any of the 44 states in which kratom is legal, and even in some independently owned convenience stores.
